Every time I go to the Renaissance Festival there is always someone there dressed as a Star Wars Stormtrooper. Don’t get me wrong, I get it. It’s funny. But that didn’t stop me from crafting some incredibly convoluted story about his background. So stay tuned this week, and next for “Vague Ambition’s: A Very Ye Old Star Wars Halloween Spectacular”

Marge Simpson in Playboy? It’s crazy! And my trend of being giddy about animated eroticism continues into fully legal territory. As you’re reading this I’m running out to wherever it is that Playboy’s are sold to buy a copy of this. I wonder if they’ll do her turn on’s/turn off’s. Those have to be pretty funny.

And in some small way continuity. (What’s that damn Blob still doing bumming around anyway?)

A Boy And His Blob made it’s return yesterday for the Wii. The original came out for the NES, something you kids might be able to see in your history books.

It featured a Boy, and a Blob. As the Boy you could feed your Blob jelly beans of different flavors, making your Blob change into various shapes to aid you on your quest to do whatever the hell it was that game was about.

I never finished it.

Scribblenaughts is one of the most addictive games I’ve played in a while. There’s just so many ways to beat each level, I’m often surprised by what I can conjure up.

If you have the game fun (but pretty much useless) things to bring up are:

P.S. Change is coming!

I went to this event called a “Flavor Tripping” party. At such a place you are given a ‘miracle berry‘, which for two hours after it’s consumed makes anything else you eat taste sweet. I was a little skeptical at first, but it really does work. I could eat lemon wedges with ease, shoot hot sauce, and mix strawberries with balsamic vinegar with no immediate effects.

I say no immediate effects because, although all food tastes delicious under the effects of the berry, anything eaten has to coalesce the way of all organic food stuffs. So this comic is pretty accurate.

I am very forgiving when it comes to advertising. I will allow clowns to sell me fast food, jackass’s to sell me beer, and animated bears to sell me toilet paper. One thing I don’t care for is being lied to, even if it’s ’supposedly’ by proxy. There’s a new genre of soda in the world, Mary Jane’s Relaxing Soda which according to their site: “Some have also compared the effects to marijuana (hence the name, Mary Jane)…”

It’s like they want us to believe that the drink was put through focus groups, sampled, studied, evaluated, and that naming it Mary Jane was the end result of all that.

I seriously doubt that there would ever be a product released to the public that had the effects of marijuana, unless that was marijuana. Unless it can succeed on it’s own merits, I don’t think people want a facsimile product.  Anyone remember when Cocaine hit the streets? And what a huge success that was? I understand the ploy behind naming your product after a drug, that it’s a risque, you might drum up interest in an already saturated market, and if can get some of the parents of the world to protest your product, sales to rebellious children will spike.

It’s clever, but it’s a lie.

My fiance recently got a camera off of craigslist. That site is a service that she both loves and fears. For example, She loves that she can find almost anything she wants, but is afraid that everyone that posts ads on there is a potential serial rapist.
