About the Site:
Vague Ambition was started August 13th 2009 in an attempt to do something creative. I had just returned from the San Diego Comic Con and found myself more overwhelmed by the industry than the exclusives, free, schwag, or even the panels. I got to meet some genuinely really cool people who never gave up on their dreams and found a way to make those dreams pay the bills. I went as a fan of the industry, but left determined to become part of it.
I was one of those kids who would always attempt to write screen plays, and always dreamed about one day making a movie of my own. But I never really put forth any actual initiative toward those goals. I just always ‘knew’ that if you just put me behind a camera, and give me a crew I would make something that would kick your balls into your throat. That never happened.
For some reason or another I decided at age 27 to start trying to draw, I’d never really expressed any interest in it, but now I’ve completely fallen in love with it. Doing this strip has give me some kind of creative outlet that I didn’t have before, and it’s now my goal to return to Comic-Con, this time with my own booth.
About Me:
I was born in Greenock Scotland, U.K. I don’t have an accent anymore I lost it shortly after we first moved to the states. I did the bulk of my growing up in Sugar Land, TX, a city just outside of Houston. It practically is Houston, but don’t tell them that. I am a Veteran of the United States Army, I completed two tours of combat in Iraq totaling 25 months altogether. I now reside in Houston, TX with my fiance and our dog Achiever.
