I heard that Disney has now merged with Marvel in some capacity. I’m not really sure what to make of that. It seems like it could be a good merger of two worlds of intellectual properties. So when I heard the news I, and people like me were imagining, and creating possible crossovers and match-ups in their heads. Will such things happen? Will the Hulk and Goofy be seen walking down Disney Land streets together? I guess we’ll just have to see how it plays out.

My theory on how this came about is as such:

The Disney executives thaw out an angry Walt Disney for advice on where to take the empire next. An angry Walt leans out of his cryo-tube, smacks around a few subordinates and listens to their plight.

“Comic movies are all the rage right now, but we aren’t profiting in this area, what do we do Lord Disney?”

And Disney, all raspy and evil like says “Buy out the Jew!”

And that’s the way it really happened.
