I saw the latest installment in the Final Destination series at a screening last Friday. Of course it was terrible, but you got to see the “douchey” hipster kids die in spectacular 3D glory.

The biggest problem I see with the formula of the series is that a kid gets a vision and warns his friends, which doesn’t mean they are safe, it just means they’ll die even grislier deaths later on down the road. (What an selfless asshole)

Final Destination doesn’t have too many more tricks up it’s sleeves, so maybe the next place they could take the series to, is instead of giving the well meaning teen with the heart of gold the power of foresight. Give it to his D-Bag buddy who would probably just claim he was going on a beer run, but really sneak out the back while his buddies ate shit.
