I attented Avatar Day on Friday night. They only showed about 20 minutes of footage, but it looked amazing. The 3D was some of the most impressive I have ever seen. And personally I think it’s time that James Cameron comes back to the the fray. I know he made more money than God when Titanic took off. But a 13 year directing hiatus?

Anyway, from what I can tell from the footage that I saw the events in this comic seem somewhat probable. I’m not really sure what the human/avatar relationship is like, or how the link might be severed, or even what consequences that would mean.
